Roca is an independent film director with a distinct visual sensitivity and a deep interest in finding the language that belongs to each story.
After studying Communications at the University of Lima, he moved to Barcelona to specialize in Film Directing at CECC.
His perspective has been shaped by a lifelong fascination with cinema, photography, literature and music videos—different forms of storytelling that continue to influence the way he approaches rhythm, atmosphere and emotion.
Rather than bringing the same formula to every project, Roca looks for what makes each script particular. His process begins by discovering its tone and building a visual world that feels honest to the story.
Image plays a central role in his work. Photography, art direction, composition and movement are never treated as decoration, but as narrative tools that give each film its own character.
Throughout his career, he has directed commercials for brands including BBVA, BCP, Pilsen, Cristal, Entel, Movistar, Cemento Andino and Gloria, among many others.
Based in Lima, Roca works independently and has directed projects across Peru and other Latin American countries.
